attention please

in late march i walked along lake lucerne when the following sight struck me. two little boys fishing with their mother. nothing wrong about that. i just remember when i was fishing for the first time with my father some 20 years ago, but he told me and my brother to always keep quiet not to scare the fish away. maybe nowadays fish also have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and don't care about being quiet anymore. on the other hand they didn't catch one single fish while i made this gif...

king of the hill

mike shiva is probably one of the best entertainers from switzerland. he is hosting a late night show where you can call him and ask about your future, wheter you have the right boyfriend, who will win the football championsship or why your pets are puking on your favourite carpet, everything he can tell you after a blink into his cards!

run run run!

the next gif documents me walking up a hill in switzerland last week. yes walking up. thanks to the gif my legs seem to have more power and just keep on running, almost flying. i just realize how much i love animated gifs. but not only them, also latvia. it is so nice here - everything is so flat. latvian language doesn't even make a difference between mountains and hills, every elevation that is higher than your nose is called "kalns". no need to say, that kalns is translated into mountain and not hill.

automatic cash

so far my last italian gif. unfortunately i didn't go left and check out the automatic cash. in times of the global financial crisis hype it could be nice to get some of that, but just like me, most of the people seemed to be ignoring the arrow.

shaky times

even though the earthquake in italy was only about two weeks after my visit, there were shaky times in siena with it's communist party.
